You cannot book until they add you. First visits take longer because of the visitor list.

Bring acceptable photo ID. Expired ID is not accepted.

Hoodies, ripped clothes, and flip-flops are often turned away. Staff decide on the day.

Allow time to get through security. Local queues vary.

Book on GOV.UK or the booking line once you are on their visitor list. Booking line 0300 060 6514. Line open Mon–Fri · 9am–3pm.

Phones and bags usually go in a locker. Bring change.
